11 UWS Openings To Know About: Restaurants, Supermarkets, And More

A Michelin-starred Italian eatery, a Sephora outpost, and a Morton Williams, are just some of the Lincoln Center openings to know about.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A variety of Upper West Side restaurants and businesses have already opened their doors since the beginning of the year in the Lincoln Center-area.

On Monday, the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District (BID) announced a collection of these new options in the neighborhood, including a seafood spot, an Italian eatery, and a make up store.

The BID also presented a list of expected Upper West Side openings in the near future.

“It has been truly remarkable to see many restaurants and businesses invest in the vibrancy of the Lincoln Square neighborhood with foot traffic in the community continuing to trend upward,” said Monica Blum, president of the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District, in a news release.

Here are the restaurants and businesses that have opened in Lincoln Square since the beginning of 2023.

El Fish Marisqueria: 155 Amsterdam Ave.

  • In a rare combination, El Fish Marisqueria offers up New England seafood with a Mexican flare. Its menu includes oysters, shrimp, ceviche, tostadas, cocktails, and much more.

Bad Roman: 10 Columbus Circle

  • Bad Roman is a new modern Italian restaurant that opened on the third floor of The Shops at Columbus Circle. It is managed by Quality Branded, which owns and manages several upscale eateries in NYC.

Cafe Paradiso: 144 W. 65th St.

  • The eatery snuggled within Lincoln Center's Elinor Bunin Monroe Film Center is operated by the same group that runs neighborhood favorite Cafe Fiorello. The new cafe merges Italian and American gourmet treats.

Wonder: 2030 Broadway

  • The new eatery also has a new concept. You can order from nine different restaurants within the storefront, which is open for lunch and dinner.

Sephora: 1863 Broadway at 61st Street

  • The hair and beauty product mega-chain opened recently at West 61st Street next door to Target.

Brown Harris Stevens: 1934 Broadway at corner of West 65th Street

  • The well known luxury real estate firm relocated to the corner of West 65th Street.

ZiZi NYC: 2012 Broadway between 68th and 69th streets

  • A new Mediterranean eatery will open its second location in New York City.

Rampoldi New York: 64th Street just east of Broadway

A Michelin-starred Italian restaurant will open in the neighborhood, but there aren't many details available.

Morton Williams: Broadway between 68th and 69th streets

  • Another outpost of the supermarket chain is coming to the Upper West Side.

URVet Care: 169 Amsterdam Ave.

  • URVet Care is a veterinarian's office that serves a wide variety of animals.

H Mart: Amsterdam Avenue and 69th Street

  • The popular Korean supermarket chain is coming to the Upper West Side.
