60 Firefighters Battle Late Night Upper West Side Blaze: FDNY

An all-hands fire took place late Sunday night in a five-story building on West 108th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A quiet Upper West Side block lit up with sirens Sunday night as 60 firefighters responded to an all-hands blaze on West 108th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway.

The fire ignited around 10:16 p.m. in a five-floor building on the street, FDNY said. The blaze was put under control in less than 45 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
