All-Hands Fire At Upper West Side Residential Building: FDNY
A total of 60 firefighters responded to a fire Monday at 119 West 106th Street on the Upper West Side, FDNY told Patch.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An all-hands fire took place Monday afternoon on the Upper West Side.
The blaze ignited around 3:40 p.m. in a five-story building at 119 West 106th Street, which is in between Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues.

There were at least 60 firefighters who responded to the Upper West Side blaze, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.

Dozens of people were standing off to the right of the West 106th Street building, presumably after having to evacuate.
The fire was put under control by 4:22 p.m., and nobody was injured, the FDNY said.

The FDNY did not say how the fire started.
