Ballet Instructor Jumps To Death On UWS, Police Say
The 61-year-old man was found dead at his West 75th Street home.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A prominent ballet dancer and instructor jumped to his death Thursday from his Upper West Side residence, an NYPD spokesman said.
Peter Frame, 61, was found at his building on West 75th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues around 10:15 a.m., police said. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene, police said.
Frame was involved with New York City Ballet for 40 years, first as a dancer and then as an instructor, the organization announced Thursday.

"We are saddened to learn of the passing of Peter Frame. As a principal dancer with the Company and then as faculty at the School of American Ballet, he spent more than forty years within the NYCB community and was beloved by many," New York City Ballet said in a statement posted to Twitter.
