Man Attacked With Baseball Bat While Walking On UWS: NYPD
Police said a stranger attacked a man with a baseball bat on the Upper West Side in an unprovoked attack.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man walking on the Upper West Side was attacked by a stranger wielding a baseball bat, police said.
The 24-year-old victim was walking near West End Avenue and West 107th Street around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 21, when a man struck him multiple times in the face with a baseball bat before fleeing west toward Riverside Park, police said.
EMS rushed the victim to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

The attacker is described as a slim, light-complexioned man, about 5-foot-8, wearing all black and carrying a black baseball bat.
Police have since released surveillance images of the suspect and are asking the public for help in identifying and locating him.
