Creep Tries To Touch 10-Year-Old On Upper West Side, Police Say

The man approached the young girl in front of a building on West 83rd Street, police say.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man who approached a young girl on the Upper West Side and attempted to touch her, police said.

The 10-year-old was standing in front of a building on West 83rd Street near Amsterdam Avenue on Thursday, May 31 when she was approached by an unknown man, police said. The man walked up to the girl and attempted to touch her before fleeing the scene.

Police released a photo of the man this week and described him as standing about 6-feet-tall, light skinned and partially bald.
