Former Trump Tower Upper West Side Building Sells For $266M: Report
An apartment building that used to carry the Trump name sold for hundreds of millions of dollars, according to Bloomberg.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side building that used to carry the Trump name just sold for $266 million. The sale was reported by Bloomberg.
Real estate investment group A&E made the purchase of the building at 140 Riverside Blvd., between West 66th and 67th streets, Bloomberg reported.
The 28-story apartment building is part of a group of six towers between West 65th and 72nd Streets, which were formerly known as "Trump Place." However, after the 2016 presidential election, residents of the building voted to remove Donald Trump's name from the properties.

The tower was originally built in 2003, and has 354 apartments, commercial space and a gym.
We are big believers in New York City and have been steadfast in that conviction over the past two years,” Douglas Eisenberg, executive chairman of A&E, said in a statement to Bloomberg after the purchase. “That belief has allowed us to secure some quality multifamily buildings at attractive valuations while many capital providers remained on the sidelines.”
