Lincoln Center Announces Free + Choose What You Pay Shows
Lincoln Center announced its spring programming on Thursday, with the added caveat that it will be free or choose what you pay optional.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Upper West Side art lovers rejoice as Lincoln Center announced its spring programming on Thursday. To make the announcement that much sweeter, the famed performing arts center also revealed the programming will be free or choose what you pay optional.
Spring performances and activities will begin Feb. 27 and run through the end of the season on June 15.
The David Rubenstein Atrium will start hosting in-person performances again from March 10 through May 26.

The atrium will host an expanded number of activities, events and shows this year after David Rubenstein donated $10 million in 2021 to make it possible for Lincoln Center to expand its abilities.
No tickets are required for the David Rubenstein Atrium as events are free and will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Additionally, from April 13 through April 30, a new edition of American Songbook will run at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse, which will use a pay-what-you choose method for the first time.
Lincoln Center will also continue to offer virtual options, with a "Passport to the Arts" program for kids, teens and adults with disabilities and their families that will run from Feb. 27 to June 15.
Before each virtual performance or activity, families using the passport will receive social narratives, photos, and links.
Lincoln Center will continue offering its "Moments" program, in support of people, caregivers, and families impacted by dementia.
