Lincoln Square Basement Fire Extinguished Wednesday: FDNY
Firefighters discovered a trash fire in the basement of the prewar building about 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, fire officials said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - A basement fire was extinguished in the basement of a prewar apartment building in Lincoln Square section of the Upper West Side early Wednesday, authorities said.
The blaze at 236 W 64 St. was reported about 02:10 a.m., fire officials told Patch.
Four units, including 22 firefighters, responded to a trash fire in the basement. The blaze was deemed under control about 02:46 a.m., officials said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
