Forget Laundry, This UWS Building's Prime Amenity Is A Skate Park

So much for feeling good about having a building bike room. This UWS development just added an indoor skate park to its amenities list.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Most New Yorkers feel pretty good about having a laundry machine in their building, but this Upper West Side luxury development complex just upped the game by adding an indoor skate park to its list of amenities.

Waterline Square, a set of three luxury buildings at 400 West 61st Street, just announced its completed indoor skate park. The complex is billing it as the first-ever skate park to exist within an NYC condo building.

The skate park was constructed within Waterline Club, which is the complex's 100,000-square-foot amenity center.

The mural concept was thought of by artist and native New Yorker Valentino Mikalef, but painted by David Wang.

"With roots in NYC, we jumped at the chance to collaborate with Waterline Square on the Upper West Side," Mikalef said about his mural. "Our art helped transform the space into an NYC experience we could only dream of having grown up in the Big Apple."

Incredibly, the indoor skate park might not be the crown jewel of Waterline Square's 100,000 square-foot amenity space.

The UWS luxury building complex already comes with a bowling alley, a basketball court, a golf simulator, a recording studio, a 30-foot rock-climbing wall, a gym, an indoor soccer field, an art studio, a tennis court, a three-lane pool, a sauna, a hot tub, and more.
