Man Shot In Leg On Central Park West In Early AM Shooting: Police

Two men were held for questioning early Thursday morning, but police said no arrests have been announced yet.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was shot in the leg on Central Park West early Thursday morning, according to police officials.

The shooting started at around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday when the 38-year-old victim was shot once in the left leg on Central Park West near West 91st Street, officials said.

First responders rushed the man to St. Luke's Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

Investigators found seven bullet casings at the scene and two men were held for questioning, officials said.

A police spokesperson said no arrests or charges have been announced as of late Thursday morning.
