Man Stabbed In The Chest On The Upper West Side: Police
Police told Patch that an argument between two men Tuesday night on the UWS led to one of them stabbing the other twice in the chest.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was stabbed twice in the chest Tuesday on the Upper West Side after a verbal argument boiled over into violence, police said.
Police told Patch that a 24-year-old man was having a verbal argument with another man around 9:26 p.m. at 2289 Broadway (between West 82nd and 83rd Streets), when he flashed a knife and stabbed the man twice on the left side of his chest.
The stabber then fled the Upper West Side block and is still at large.

The two men know each other, police said.
The man who was stabbed was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital in stable condition.

Police did not provide any description of the man wanted in connection to the stabbing. The investigation remains ongoing.
