UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was stabbed Tuesday in the early afternoon on the Upper West Side, police told Patch.

Two men were fighting on Broadway and West 97th Street just before 1 p.m., when one of them stabbed the other, police said.

A man named Levon Grant, 47, has been identified as the attacker, arrested, and charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon, reported the WestSideRag.

The victim was transported to a hospital. NYPD did not specify his condition.

Both men lived in the same building, the WestSideRag added.
