Massive Early Voting Rally Set For The UWS: What To Know

Eric Adams, Jerry Nadler, Gale Brewer, Brad Lander and Mark Levine will be among the candidates Sunday on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Democratic candidates in New York City's most significant elections this November will be on the Upper West Side this weekend for a rally in honor of the start of early voting.

The rally for Democratic candidates will take place Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Verdi Square on Broadway and West 73rd Street.

Here are those elected officials that will be in attendance:

  • Eric Adams: Brooklyn Borough President and Democratic mayoral candidate
  • Jerry Nadler: Congress Member
  • Gale Brewer: Manhattan Borough President and Democratic UWS City Council candidate
  • Brad Lander: Park Slope Council Member and Democratic candidate for Comptroller
  • Mark Levine: Upper Manhattan Council Member and Democratic candidate for Manhattan Borough President
  • Linda Rosenthal: UWS Assembly Member
  • Ruth Messinger: Former Manhattan Borough President

For those who don't know, early voting kicks off on Saturday and goes until Oct. 31. You can find your early voting sites here.

The election is on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

The deadline for registered voters to apply for an absentee ballot application online or mail is Monday, Oct. 18. It's Nov. 1 to request one in person. They can find more information here.
