UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — One of the Upper West Side's most acclaimed restaurants will close its doors at the end of June.

Dovetail, located on West 77th Street near Columbus Avenue, will shut down June 30 after an 11-year run in the neighborhood, Eater New York first reported. Over the years, Dovetail amassed recognition including a Michelin Star and a three-star review in the New York Times, according to the report.

The restaurant is closing down for summer renovations and a new restaurant will open in the West 77th Street space later this year, owners told Eater. Details of the new restaurant are sparse, but owners confirmed it will have a new chef and concept and that some of Dovetail's staff will remain.
