'The Moth' Storytelling Series Returns To Lincoln Center

The event will be hosted by The New Yorker's Adam Gopnik and will feature stories from Emmy winners and orchestra leaders.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Popular storytelling series "The Moth" will return to Lincoln Center in October for the sixth collaboration between the performing arts center and the series, Lincoln Center officials announced Wednesday.

The Moth will showcase storytellers such as Emmy-winning journalist Trina Robinson and concertmaster of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Frank Almon when it returns to Lincoln Center on October 13. The October show will preclude another upcoming collaboration for March 2019, Lincoln Center officials said.

The New Yorker's Adam Gopnik — an essayist, art critic and nonfiction writer — will host the October 13 event at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall.

Tickets for the October show will be offered at $30 and $50 and sales will open to the public on Sept. 12, Lincoln Center officials said. Tickets can be bought online or by calling the Lincoln Center box office.

The October event marks the first time The Moth will be hosted at Lincoln Center since two shows in Nov. of 2017 and one show in April.
