Person Hit By Train At Columbus Circle, Major UWS Delays: MTA
Southbound 1, 2, and 3 trains were delayed and rerouted Wednesday morning after a person was struck at 59th Street, the MTA tweeted.

Southbound 1, 2, and 3 trains have resumed making normal stops in Manhattan Wednesday afternoon after emergency personnel responded to someone hit by a train around 8:40 a.m. at 59th Street-Columbus Circle.
Delays are still expected in both directions as trains get back on schedule.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A person was struck by a train Wednesday morning at the 59th Street Columbus Circle subway station, according to the MTA. The MTA did not specify if the person was on the tracks when they were hit.
The person was struck around 8:40 a.m., according to the MTA.

Southbound 1, 2, and 3 trains are now all running with delays and getting rerouted while emergency personnel responds to the incident.

Southbound 2 trains are running on the 5 line from 149 St-Grand Concourse to Nevins St.

Southbound 1 trains are now also running on the express track from West 72nd Street to Times Square-42nd Street, according to the MTA.
For alternate service, you might consider taking the A or C trains for travel on the westside of Manhattan.
The MTA also did not reveal details about the condition of the person hit.
