Miriam Restaurant, which has operated in Park Slope for nearly 20 years, looks set to open soon on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Upper West Side looks poised to expand its selection of tasty Israeli food.
Signage has recently up gone up at the corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 74th Street for Miriam Restuarant, which is a popular and well-reviewed eatery that has served customers from a location in Park Slope, Brooklyn, for nearly 20 years.

The Israeli eatery offers a brunch and dinner menu that includes dipping plates, grilled halloumi cheese and artichoke heart salad, pomegranate meatballs, honey chili fried brussels sprouts, lamb shawarma, duck confit and more.
“This Israeli spot makes some truly excellent brunch dishes, and the environment is homey but still lively," The Infatuation wrote about Miriam Restaurant's Brooklyn flagship.
"Homemade by Miriam dishes reflect the rich cultural history of Israel, a country teaming with the endless inspiration and countless collaborations amongst hundreds of micro-cultures," reads an about section on the restaurant's website. "With spices and preparations derived from hundreds of years of history, we hope to tell these stories through our food."
Miriam Restaurant will hope to find a similar level of success on the Upper West Side to Dagon, which opened with rave reviews in the neighborhood last year with Mediterranean and Israeli menu options.
