UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - Five “young” attackers are being sought in a violent robbery of a teen at an Upper West Side playground Monday night, police said.

The 17-year-old victim was approached by a group of five youngsters at the Little Engine Playground near 160 Riverside Blvd. about 7:30 p.m., police said.

One of the attackers flashed a knife and demanded property before the quintet punched the victim about the body multiple times, police said.

The group fled with the victim’s cell phone, sneakers, jacket and $15 in cash, police said. The teen was treated by medics at the scene.

The group was comprised of four “young” boys and a girl, police said.

No arrests have been announced as of Wednesday.
