HARLEM, NY - Authorities are looking for a person of interest in connection with the death of a man found unconscious behind a Harlem hotel near Central Park last month, police said.

The victim, whose identity has not yet been made public, was found on Nov. 10 about 1 p.m. behind the Cambridge Hotel at 141 West 110 St., police said. Medics rushed him to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

NYPD provided a photo of the person of interest, pictured above, on Wednesday. Additional information was not made available as of Wednesday afternoon.

Despite the Cambridge Hotel's swanky name, past visitors have described the facility as "very dangerous" and "unsanitary," according to one Yelp review.

"This is a SRO building or a halfway house," another reviewer wrote. "Come if you dare."

The news comes less than two weeks after a 37-year-old Brooklyn man was found dead inside Central Park on Dec. 11, police said.

Ian Stapp, of Flatbush, was found by a park worker at the Heckscher Playground near Center Drive and 62nd Street, police said.

Stapp was found with “multiple lacerations” to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is working to determine the cause of death, police said. The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information in regard to the incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
