Upper West Side Turkish Restaurant Closing After 25 Years: Report
Pasha New York is permanently closing, according to ILoveTheUpperWestSide. But it is open for a final goodbye and giveaway on Wednesday.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Pasha New York, one of the most popular Turkish restaurants on the Upper West Side, is closing its doors after 25 years in the neighborhood, according to a report from ILoveTheUpperWestSide.
The eatery is also listed as permanently closed on Google.
Pasha has served customers at 70 West 71st Street, in between Columbus and Central Park West, since 1996.

"Best of Luck" balloons were floating outside the restaurant on Tuesday, along with a note written by a loyal customer taped to the door saying "thank you."
Pasha staff told ILoveTheUpperWestSide that their decision to close was due to a rent increase beyond their ability to pay after the loss of business during the pandemic. The Turkish restaurant shared the building with Big Nick's Too, a popular burger joint that also shuttered permanently at the end of August.

Pasha will welcome customers for a final time on Wednesday, from noon to closing. The food and wine will be complimentary, and the restaurant will accept donations for their Turkish chairs, plates, engraved water pitchers, and benches.
The restaurant will also give away smaller items like silverware for free.
