UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Upper West Side's Abbey Pub will close after nearly 50 years in business at the end of the month, the business' owners said in a statement.

Owners thanked their customers for " all the years of fun" and implored neighborhood residents to swing by for Abbey's final week.
