UWS Bar Refuses To Serve Man In MAGA Hat
The Trump supporter posted a video of himself arguing with a bartender at Jake's Dilemma to Facebook.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A MAGA hat-wearing Trump supporter was refused service and kicked out of an Upper West Side bar last week, prompting the business to discipline an employee and ensure customers that it does not promote a political ideology.
Dion Cini, a Trump supporter, posted a video on Facebook last week of him arguing with a bartender and security guard at Jake's Dilemma on Amsterdam Avenue and West 81st Street. The video begins with the bartender telling Cini to settle his tab and leave the bar.
When Cini asks "you won't serve me another beer because I'm wearing my hat right?" the bartender nods and gives him a thumbs up. During the video Cini often refers to the bartender as a "soy boy" and asks the employee if he "hates America."

Jake's Dilemma released a statement Saturday stating that the bartender was disciplined. Bar owners told Gothamist that the employee is suspended for two week and that owners considered firing him.
The owners also told Gothamist that Cini "was actually being really obnoxious before the bartender did anything."

The bar's statement denounced its employee's conduct and said: "Our staff and management team include people from all walks of life and beliefs."
"With all this in mind, we do fully acknowledge that one of our employees took it upon himself to wrongly promote his political views. We can assure everyone that this employee has been disciplined and will be retrained before being allowed to serve at Jake’s Dilemma," the statement continues.
