UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side hotel will celebrating the spring and summer seasons by turning its lobby into a pop-up flower market on select weekends during the season.

The Arthouse Hotel, a four-star hotel on Broadway and West 77th Street, will host the Arthouse Flower Market every second Friday starting May 24 and continuing through August, according to a hotel press release.

The pop-up market will transform the hotel's lobby into a "floral oasis" featuring bouquets and flower crowns from Edelweiss Floral Atelier, the hotel announced. The Arthouse Wine Bar, also located in the lobby, will supplement the flower market by offering custom floral cocktails.

The bar opens at 3 p.m., according to a press release. Highlights from the menu include a drink called "You Had Me At Hibiscus" featuring limoncello, hibiscus syrup and prosecco and a drink called The Bouquet which features sake and lychee puree served in what is being described as a "verdant terrarium vessel" surrounded by live plants.

The flower market will open at 11 a.m. and close by 7 p.m. on participating weekends. This will be the third year the Arthouse Hotel hosts the pop up.
