UWS Jewelry Store Robbed By 3 People Wearing Ski Masks: Police
The Diamond Rush Jewelry store at 200 W. 96th St. was robbed Monday evening, police told Patch.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side jewelry store was robbed Monday night by three people wearing ski masks, a police spokesperson told Patch.
The trio entered Diamond Rush Jewelry at 200 W. 96th St. on Amsterdam Avenue around 7:35 p.m., police said.
One of the men pulled out a hammer and broke a display case at the front of the store, before passing the hammer to another man who also broke a case, police said. The duo then shoveled jewelry into plastic bags as the third man acted as a lookout, police said.

The trio then fled in an unknown direction, police added.
Nobody was injured, police said.

The NYPD spokesperson said there was no description of the three people as of Tuesday morning given the ski masks.
Diamond Rush Jewelry opened on the Upper West Side in May of 2019.
