Kebab Aur Sharab is run by the chef and restaurateur Salil Mehta, who also runs the first Malaysian restaurant in New York City to earn a Michelin star.

The new Upper West Side restaurant aims to "showcase the depth and breadth of India's remarkable cuisine, inspired by the street food and comfort food offerings that Mehta grew up with, including dishes from iconic restaurants and street carts in India."

The menu will feature kebabs, butter chicken, steak Garam masala, fish curry, tandoori chicken, lamb chops, river prawns with mango chutney, goat, vegetarian dishes, wagyu beef, chicken biryani, and more.

“It’s a nostalgic dream for Dipesh (culinary director) and I that takes us back to my roots and I am looking forward to sharing our food and culture with New Yorkers," Mehta wrote.

The news of the restaurant opening on the Upper West Side was featured as the headliner in a New York Times roundup of new eateries.

The Wallace Lounge: 242 West 76th St.

The Upper West Side just got a little bit more sophisticated with the opening of a hotel piano bar in the neighborhood.

The Wallace Lounge is currently undergoing its soft opening within the Wallace Hotel on 76th Street between Broadway and West End.

The new piano bar is open from 5 p.m. to midnight from Wednesday through Sunday, but you'll most likely want to make a reservation on Resy.

The Grand Opening will be on March 1.

"With a sleek and sophisticated atmosphere, The Wallace Lounge is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, delicious small plates, and exceptional service," reads a description of the bar on its website.

Along with the cocktails, Wallace Lounge offers a variety of small plates, from cured meats and cheese, original takes on bar food favorites, and a selection of caviar.

Wonder: 2030 Broadway (near West 70th Street)

Wonder is probably the most unique of the new Upper West Side restaurant openings.

Wonder is a new restaurant concept that offers dishes from other popular eateries under one roof.

"A new kind of home dining experience," reads a description of Wonder on its Instagram. "Enjoy menus from top chefs and iconic restaurants across the country, all in one place."

In the recently opened Upper West Side location's case, the storefront lets you pick from eight different restaurants that you can eat at the location or get delivered. The new Wonder on the Upper West Side is the first physical storefront the company has opened, previously it only offered delivery.

Here are the available restaurants at the UWS storefront: Alanza (Italian), Barrio Cafe (Mexican), Chai Pani (Indian), Chios Taverna by Michael Symon (Greek), Di Fara Pizza, Tejas Barbecue, The Mainstay (American).

The Upper West Side location is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
