UWS Smoke Shop Robbed By Pepper-Spray Wielding Man: NYPD
The Millennium Smoke Shop was robbed in the middle of the day for money and products, NYPD announced recently.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side smoke shop was robbed by a pepper-spray wielding thief, NYPD said over the weekend.
The man pointed pepper spray at a worker, 25, inside Millennium Smoke and News store on Broadway between West 85th and 86th streets on April 2 about 2 p.m., police said.
The thief demanded money from the register, took $1,000 in cash and $500 worth of products, then ran away up Broadway, the NYPD said. The spokesperson did not specify what those products were.

There were no injuries, police added.
NYPD described the robber as being in his mid-20s, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing roughly 120 pounds.
