UWS Theater To Show 22-Movie Marvel Marathon
The marathon, which has a run time of 59 hours and seven minutes, will culminate with an advance showing of "Avengers: Endgame."

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side movie theater will host some of Marvel's most dedicated fans for more than two days for a 22-movie marathon leading up to this month's release of the latest "Avengers" movie.
The marathon, which has an insane run time of 59 hours and seven minutes, will be shown at the AMC Lincoln Square 13 theater on Broadway and West 68th Street. The original "Iron Man," released in 2008, will kick off the marathon which will end in an advance screening of "Avengers: Endgame" — the followup to last year's ultra-hyped "Avengers: Infinity War."
Marathoners will enter the Upper West Side theater at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23 and may not emerge until late Thursday evening. Tickets for the marathon are still available, but are selling fast, according to AMC's website.

The 59 hour run time suggests that movies will be shown back-to-back with no breaks or commercials in-between. Marathoners will have the ability to take breaks and skip out on movies while returning to catch their favorites — because even the most fanatic Marvel followers need to sleep and eat.
