Woman Slashed Multiple Times On The Upper West Side: NYPD

The woman is in stable condition after getting slashed Monday on the Upper West Side by someone she knew, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A woman was slashed multiple times Monday on the Upper West Side, a police spokesperson told Patch.

The 34-year-old woman was slashed around 3:30 p.m. at 248 W. 62nd St. by a 34-year-old man that she knew, police said.

The man fled the scene and there has been no arrest, police said.

The police spokesperson said they believed the attack happened within an apartment at an address, but could not confirm the information.

The spokesperson also didn't confirm how the two people knew each other.
