You Can Buy Kerry Washington's UWS Apartment For $25 Million

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Want to live like Kerry Washington? The star best known for her role as Olivia Pope in "Scandal" once rented an Upper West Side apartment with her family at the luxury building known as One Riverside Park.

Pope lived at the building on 50 Riverside Drive, in between West 61st and 62nd Streets, for around a year in 2019 when she was performing on Broadway.

At the time, she rented the penthouse apartment for around $68,000 a month, which is now selling for $25 million, according to multiple publications, including Mansion Global and 6sqft.

The apartment comes equipped with six bedrooms, seven and a half bathrooms, and views of the Hudson River.

“We spent a lot of time looking for a place that had enough space for our whole crew, our posse,” Washington told Architectural Digest in 2019. “That view! We spend a lot of time outdoors in L.A., so it was important to me that my family could still feel that connection.”

The penthouse also has a private elevator landing, a fireplace, marble countertops and a media room.

The building has a long list of amenities, including a 40,000 square-foot athletic club, a spa with a pool, a rock-climbing wall, basketball and squash courts, an indoor playground, and more.
