Here are the top three stories in Utica today:

  1. Early on Sunday morning, Jun. 18, a 17-year-old Utica teen was injured during a shooting at a wedding reception in Fulton. The incident occurred at Fulton’s Polish Home on 153 West First Street and Fulton Police believe shots were fired from two handguns. Fulton Police were notified by the Utica Police Department after the victim went to a hospital in Utica for treatment of a minor leg wound. (CNY Homepage)
  2. One person was transported to the hospital after a two-car crash in front of Fastrac late Saturday night, Jun. 17. One of the cars caught fire and Utica firefighters put out the blaze. One block of Genesee Street was closed for a time after the crash. (WKTV)
  3. The 7th season of the Levitt Amp concert series began Monday night, Jun. 19, at Kopernik Park in Utica! The free, family-friendly outdoor concerts will run for ten weeks and will feature local and national headlining acts. The concerts will be held every Monday through Aug. 28, except Jul. 3.
