Ahead of the Labor Day weekend, State police encourage people to find alternative travel options to avoid driving under the influence, including using Uber or Lyft, having a designated driver or getting a ride from a sober third party.

"Driving under the influence is a choice. The tragic consequences that can result from choosing to drive drunk or high are entirely preventable," state police said.
