Road closures were reported at Sunrise Highway and Washington Avenue in Seaford Sunday due to an auto accident, police said.
Police announced the closure at 7:18 p.m. Both directions were closed initially, and the eastbound lanes have since been reopened.
Cops confirmed that people were transported to the hospital, and they were alive when taken by ambulance. Police did not say how many people were hurt, and there's no update on the victims' current condition.
