TOKYO, JAPAN — The first Olympics ended for Wantagh native Andrew Capobianco. He'll leave Tokyo with one medal that he earned last week, but Capobianco wasn't able to add a second.

He qualified for the finals in the 3-meter springboard competition but he did not reach the medal podium this time. Capobianco managed 401.70 points from his six dives, more than 100 points out of medal contention.

Capobianco, 21, finished in 10th place. The China juggernaut finished 1-2 after teaming for the 3-meter synchronized gold earlier in the Games. Capobianco took the silver in that event.
