As we move closer to the end of 2013 there are school concerts and trips for area residents on the agenda.
Here's a look ahead:
Concerts: There are several school concerts in the area. Seaford Harbor School will hold a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday while Seaford Manor will hold their concert Thursday at 7:30 p.m. There will be a community holiday concert Saturday at 7 p.m. at Seaford High School. Wantagh High School will hold a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
School Board: The Wantagh School Board will hold their monthly meeting Thursday at 8 p.m.
Bus Trip: Both the Seaford Public Library and the Wantagh Library are organizing a trip to Lincoln Center and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on Tuesday. The cost is $87. Contact the library for more information.
Craft: The Seaford Library will host a winter pre-school craft Wednesday from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Appeals Board: The Town of Hempstead Board of Appeals meets Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Town Hall, located at 1 Washington Street in Hempstead.
