Crash Closes Portion Of Sunrise Highway Tuesday Morning: Police

WANTAGH, NY — A crash Tuesday morning closed two eastbound lanes of Sunrise Highway in Wantagh.
In a statement released at 8:20 a.m., Nassau County police said they shut down two eastbound lanes just before Seaford Avenue. Authorities did not say when they would reopen that portion of the highway.
According to reports, a two-car collision caused an SUV to overturn. No serious injuries were reported.
