Police are warning drivers that a crash on the southbound Wantagh State Parkway is causing heavy delays.

The crash occurred at exit W4 on the Wantagh, which is the exit for the Southern State Parkway.

The accident has snarled traffic on both roads, so drivers should take an alternate route if possible.
