Crime Report: DWI, Stolen Totes from Seaford CVS

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th and 8th Precincts.

  • Two people on Willoughby Avenue in Wantagh reported to police that items were stolen from their vehicles from Nov. 29-30. The driver side door of man's 2002 Dodge was discovered slightly open with a Cannon digital camera and a Garmin GPS stolen. A woman also reported that her pocketbook was taken from her 2007 Volvo, which was parked unlocked in her driveway.
  • On Dec. 1 Todd Longmuir, 49, of Wantagh was arrested at in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated, three counts of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and five vehicle and traffic law violations.
  • On Dec. 2, Luci Tonietti, 40, of Seaford was arrested on Hickory Street, Seaford and charged with petit larceny.
  • A home on Duckpond Drive North in Wantagh was burglarized on Dec. 3. Police said the home was entered through an open front door and jewelry and U.S currency were removed.
  • Three hundred plastic storage totes were reported stolen from the back loading dock of on 2250 Seamans Neck Rd. in Seaford between Dec. 3 and 4. Each tote was marked "Property of CVS" and were assorted colors of blue, red, green and gray.
  • A man on Wells Avenue in Wantagh reported to police that 20 boxes of mechanical parts that he was going to ship from his back yard were removed between Dec. 3 and 4.
  • A car was reported stolen from Twin Lane North in Wantagh on Dec. 4. Police said the man left his 2006 Nissan in the street warming up.
  • On Dec. 5 Shawn Molloy, 37, of Merrick was arrested on Lakeview Avenue, Wantagh and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • On Dec. 6 Jennifer Adams, 38, of Freeport was arrested on Jerusalem Avenue, Wantagh and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
  • A stolen 1992 Buick was recovered on Jerusalem Avenue in Seaford on Dec. 7. Police said they had received a LPR stolen vehicle alert for the vehicle taken from Freeport on Nov. 17.
