Crime Report: Home Burglaries, Thefts at Toys R Us
Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th, 1st and 8th Precinct.

- A man driving northbound on Route 135 in Seaford on Nov. 13 reported to police that an unknown projectile came from the woods between Boundary Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike that hit and broke his passenger side window.
- On Nov. 17 Sahar Farag, 46 of Wantagh was arrested at Macy's at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
- A home on Berne Road in Wantagh was burglarized on Nov.19 with jewelry stolen. The house was broken into from a rear unlocked window with lawn chairs used to gain entry, according to police.
- A house on Wilson Avenue in Wantagh was burglarized on Nov. 19. Entry into the home was made by prying open the kitchen sliding door. A safe, jewelry, savings bonds, passports, blank checks and social security cards were reported stolen.
- A woman on Jacob Drive in Seaford reported to police on Nov. 19 that somebody damaged her 1999 Ford by smashing the passenger side window.
- The Toys R Us on 1157 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh was burglarized between Nov. 21 and 22. Police said the rear door of the store was pried open and $3,000 and an unknown amount of video and inflatable games were stolen.
- On Nov. 21 Troye L. Hammond, 26, of Lindenhurst was arrested on Sunrise Highway in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
- A man on Anita Lane in Wantagh reported to police on Nov. 22 that the rear window on his 2004 Chevrolet was shattered.
