Crime Report: Stolen Arboreal Tree from Japanese Restaurant

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

  • A woman on Clark Street in Seaford reported to police on Dec. 7 that a digital camera, GPS and personal papers were stolen from her 2010 Mazda.
  • A man reported to police on Dec. 8 that his Dell laptop computer, his wife's mink coat and various men's clothing contained in two black and white Bloomingdales Shopping bags were stolen from his car parked at on Sunrise Highway in Wantagh.
  • A man on Seamans Neck Road in Seaford reported to police on Dec. 8 that front and back license plates were stolen from his 2002 Volkswagen.
  • A false order was called into on Dec. 8, according to police. An unknown male called in the order and two men came in to sign and pick up order, police said.
  • A woman on Lakeview Avenue in Seaford reported to police on Dec. 11 that she heard a car door open and saw a male rummaging through her vehicle. The suspect fled when he noticed her.
  • An Arboreal Tree was reported stolen on Dec. 11 from on 1929 Park Ave., Wantagh.
  • A man on Hickory Street in Wantagh reported to police on Dec. 11 that an unknown person broke the driver's side mirror on his 2003 Dodge.
  • A highly intoxicated man was punched in the face in the bathroom at in Wantagh on Dec. 12, according to police. The man who was punched has a laceration on his lip and was uncooperative with officers, police said.
  • A home on New York Avenue in Seaford was burglarized on Dec. 12. Police said the house was broken into by prying open the rear door. Jewelry, money and a camera were stolen.
  • A woman on Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh reported to police damage to her fence.
  • On Dec. 13 Michael Hance, 31 of Seaford was arrested at the corner of Park Avenue and Monroe Avenue in Seaford and charged with third-degree intimidating a victim/witness and second-degree harassment.

The information is taken directly from  incident report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.
