Donations Bins In Seaford To Support Veterans

Items can be dropped at two locations until Nov. 20.

SEAFORD, NY — The community is keeping veterans close to its heart during the holiday season.

The Seaford Chamber of Commerce is holding a "Fill a Bag" drive as a way of giving back to those who gave so much for the country.

Drop-off bins are set up at the Seaford Library and Century 21AA Realty.

Items sought include toiletries, clothing and miscellaneous (such as iPad docking stations, new magazines and gift cards).

Donations collected will be distributed to the Northport Veterans Administration Medical Center.

The bins will remain in place at each entrance until Nov. 20.
