Driver Severely Hurt After Icy Skid 2-Car Crash In Nassau: Police
A 59-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.

NORTH WANTAGH, NY — A driver was seriously injured in a two-car crash on Monday morning in North Merrick, police said.
Just before 9 a.m., a 59-year-old woman, who was driving a 2004 Ford Expedition, hit an icy patch on Jerusalem Avenue near Canton Drive, police said.
She collided with a 2022 Tesla, driven by a 42-year-old man. Photos at the scene show the Tesla badly damaged in the front and the Expedition tipped on its side.

The woman was ejected from her Ford and was hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said.
The other driver was also taken to an area hospital. Police are investigating.
