Year in Review: Patch looks back at the feel good stories of the past year.

More than a year after Superstorm Sandy Wantagh and Seaford are still  recovering, and many of the feel good stories of the past year have to do with the community coming back from the storm. We also saw a local baseball star make it to the top and some thrills in the skies over Jones Beach.
Here's a look back at the top "good News" stories of 2013:
- Former Seaford High School star Sean Nolin took the mound for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball.
- Teen volunteer Angelica Balitsos was crowned Miss Wantagh.
- Jones Beach re-opened after Superstorm Sandy with the annual air show.
- Lawyer Tracey Discepelo who was left homeless and lost her practice because of Sandy helped dozens of people and came away with a brand new job.
- A trio of Massapequa Moms raised thousands of dollars for hurricane victims.
