Jan. 15 and 16: Wrestling, Quiz Show, Blood Drive and More

After another hard week of work and school, the weekend has finally arrived! Here are five things Wantagh and Seaford residents should know for this weekend.

1. The wrestling team is hosting the Patrick Butler Wrestling Tournament starting Saturday morning at 9 a.m. Seaford will be competing against Calhoun, Massapequa, Uniondale and Mount Sinai.

2. Nature lovers can partake in a bird walk along the Wantagh-Bellmore border at Mill Pond Park scheduled to start Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The walk is organized by the South Shore Audubon Society.

3. The will host a from 10:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Saturday. 

4. students will be shown on News 12 Long Island at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.  Saturday competing on MSG Varsity's "The Challenge" quiz show against North Shore High School.

5. On Sunday football fans can gather for the big New York Jets-New England Patriots playoff game kicking off at 4:30 p.m. at several local bars including , , and .
