Jones Beach To Host Free Events, Activities Throughout The Summer
Movie nights, fitness classes and music performances are part of the activities at Jones Beach State Park.

WANTAGH, NY — There's much more than swimming at Jones Beach.
Governor Hochul announced a full schedule of free events and activities at Jones Beach State Beach this summer.
Hosting events and activities for all age groups and interests, attendees of bandshell events can expect everything from film screenings and child-centered programming to dance nights, fitness classes and music performances from multiple genres.

Events at the bandshell run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. on weekends.
“In addition to welcoming New Yorkers to its beautiful oceanfront facility for continuous outdoor recreation this summer, Jones Beach State Park is also hosting dozens of free and affordable events and activities for individuals and families to unwind and enjoy,” Hochul said.

Other affordable offerings at Jones Beach include swimming at the West Bathhouse pool ($5 for adults and $3 for children), plus bocce ball, table tennis, miniature golf, shuffleboard, pickleball and more, all ranging from $3 to $10 per person.
Jones Beach hosts the July 4th Fireworks Celebration at 9:30 p.m.
