Lamborghini Crash Near Jones Beach Leaves 3 Hurt, Police Say

A Lamborghini and Kia SUV collided on Ocean Parkway, near Jones Beach, state troopers say.

WANTAGH, NY — Three people were hurt when a Lamborghini smashed through a barrier fence in Wantagh and collided with an SUV.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Monday on Ocean Parkway, near Jones Beach, state troopers said. The Lamborghini was in the westbound lanes of the parkway when the driver lost control, crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a Kia, police said.

Both drivers were taken to Nassau University Medical Center. The passenger of the Lamborghini was flown to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.

All injuries appeared to be not life-threatening, troopers said.
