LI Siblings Make Their Father's Dream Come True on 'Shark Tank'
FDNY firefighter Keith Young died from 9/11-related cancer. His children will appear on Shark Tank tonight with their father's invention.

Three Long Island siblings will appear on "Shark Tank" Sunday night to present the product of their late father, a FDNY firefighter whose dream was to pitch his cutting board invention on the show before he died of 9/11-related brain cancer last March.
Christian, Keira and Kaley Young, of Wantagh, will try to convince the Sharks to invest in the Cut Board Pro, a cutting board designed to "simplify the way you work in the kitchen so you can have more time with your family." Their father, Keith Young, was known as the "firehouse chef." He wrote his own cookbook and appeared twice on "Chopped" and once on "Throwdown with Bobby Flay," where his chicken cacciatore beat the celebrity chef's.

Keith Young invented the Cut Board Pro in 2010, but a year later, his wife, Beth King, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Our dad put everything on hold to fight our mom's fight with her," the Young children wrote on the Cut Board Pro website.

"Our dad was asked to compete on Chopped shortly after our mom passed but at first, he felt he wasn’t ready. The three of us said to him, 'If mom was here she would make you do it.'"
Keith Young was named a two-time Food Network Chopped Champion and he began to work on the Cup Board Pro once again.
He received his first shipment of boards in 2015 around the same time when he was diagnosed with cancer from working at Ground Zero. He died on March 17, 2018.
