Man, 85, Dies From Injuries Sustained In LI House Fire: Police
The residence suffered extensive damage, police said.

SEAFORD, NY — A man died from a house fire in Seaford on Monday evening, police said.
Officers responded to the call at 7 p.m. and found the second level of a house on Crescent Cove Drive engulfed in flames, police said.
An 85-year-old was removed from the residence and taken to a hospital, where he died a few hours later, authorities said.

No other injuries were reported. Police said the residence suffered extensive damage.
The Seaford Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

The fire is under investigation.
