Mount Sinai Set To Open New Ambulatory Center In Wantagh
The new Mount Sinai Wantagh represents a $70 million investment by Mount Sinai South Nassau.

WANTAGH, NY — A new multi-specialty Mount Sinai ambulatory center is set to open in Wantagh this month.
The new center represents a $70 million investment by Mount Sinai South Nassau, part of the Mount Sinai Health System, and will bring jobs and economic activity to Nassau County along with world-leading medical specialists.
Mount Sinai-Wantagh, located at 2020 Wantagh Avenue, just off Sunrise Highway, is set to begin a
phased opening in mid-July.

When fully operational by year’s end, the new center will feature Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center services, including hematology/oncology, an infusion center, access to clinical trials as well as a dedicated chemotherapy mixing pharmacy and lab services.
The completely refurbished building also will house a Women’s Center, a full radiology suite, orthopedics, pain management, cardiology, endocrinology, urology, neurology and gastroenterology services.

“The facility represents the future of health care on Long Island,” said Adhi Sharma, MD, President, Mount Sinai South Nassau. “Traditionally, we have asked patients to travel to multiple sites for blood work, for X-rays, and then back to see a specialist. This new model puts all of that and more under one roof.
The Wantagh site represents the fifth Mount Sinai ambulatory multispecialty center of its kind on Long Island.
