North Massapequa Man Reported Missing in Wantagh

An elderly North Massapequa man was reported missing Friday after he disappeared in Wantagh, police said.

A Silver Alert has been issued for Horst Heiner, who was last seen at 10:30 a.m. at his dentist's office at 3366 Park Avenue.  

Heiner is 86-years-old and suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. He also speaks with a German accent.

He is described as a white man about 5-feet 7-inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He is bald and was wearing Tan pants, a tan shirt and jacket with black sneakers.

He's believed to be driving a 2006 silver Honda Odyssey with New York  license plate CCS3063.
